The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Bordeaux Métropole Énergies (BME) have signed a €90 million loan agreement in support of a strategic plan for this semi-public company which supports the energy transition of local authorities, businesses and individuals in the Gironde department.

France: Treefrog Therapeutics secures €30 million from EIB marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey to accelerate the field of cell therapy
TreeFrog Therapeutics, a French biotech specializing in cell therapy has secured a €30 million financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB). The financing will support the advancement of their lead cell therapy program in Parkinson’s Disease to the clinic. Funds will also be used to reinforce their internal pipeline in other disease areas with large unmet needs.

France: EIB and Crédit Mutuel Arkéa sign three financing agreements totalling €550 million for the green transition and water sector
EIB Vice-President Ambroise Fayolle and Julien Carmona, President of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, have officially signed three financing arrangements totalling €550 million for energy efficiency (€200 million), water and sanitation (€50 million), and renewable energy (€300 million). The signing was attended by representatives of two groups that have received intermediated EIB loans from Crédit Mutuel Arkéa in the past: Volta and Technique Solaire.
